"Midland Wrecking Company satisfactorily performed three demolition contracts for the City of Leavenworth during calendar year 2000. All work was performed in compliance with contractual specifications. Mr. Kates and his employees conducted themselves in a professional manner and completed each project in a timely manner. All sites were left in a mowable condition pursuant to specifications. Leavenworth contracts are awarded by the City Commission after appropriate review and recommendation from code enforcement staff. The City uses both a voluntary process and demolition ordered through the legal process. All sites are privately owned with rare exception. We would recommend Midland Wrecking to anybody seeking responses to a competitive demolition contract process."
